Modified on Thu, 22 Oct, 2020 at 11:04 AM

A low ink reminder appears if you try to print when ink is low, and you can check your ink levels at any time using a utility on your Windows computer.

Step 1. To check your ink levels, access the Windows Desktop and double-click the https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd5/cpd56096/source/printers/source/images/icons/taskbar_printer_icon_win.jpg icon for your product in the right side of the Windows taskbar, or click the up arrow and double-click https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd5/cpd56096/source/printers/source/images/icons/taskbar_printer_icon_win.jpg. You see a window like this:

Step 2. Refill any ink tank as needed.

Note: The ink levels displayed are an estimate and may differ from the actual ink remaining in the ink tanks. To confirm the actual remaining ink, visually check the ink levels in the ink tanks. Continued use of the product when the ink level is below the lower line on the tank could damage the product.
