STEP 1:
- Click on the Search bar then Type "RUN" and then Press Enter Key on the Keyboard.
STEP 2:
- When the Run Windows appears on the lower left corner, Type "CONTROL PRINTERS" and then Press Enter Key on the Keyboard.
STEP 3:
- After entering Bluetooth & devices window, Click on Printers & Scanners.
STEP 4:
- Upon entering Printers & Scanners window, Click on Add Device then wait for the "Add a new device manually" option to show up below then Click it.
STEP 5:
- Upon showing the Add Printer window, Click the "Add a printer using an IP address or hostname" radio button then Click Next.
STEP 6:
- Select the Device type as "TCP/IP Device" then Input the IP Address of the Printer you want to connect, then Press Next.
- Regarding on the IP Address, please communicate first with IT Personnel to be able them to provide you with the correct IP address.
STEP 7:
- Select the Printer Model of the Printer you want to connect to, then Press Next.
- If asked "Which version of the driver you want to use?", Select the First Option "Use the driver that is currently installed (recommended)".
STEP 8:
- Rename the Printer Name you want to connect for you to be able to recognize it later, then Press Next.
- On the Printer Sharing, Select the "Do not share this printer" radio button, then Press Next.
- Lastly, when you see the successful message, Click Finish.
