- Installing HP ALM
- Make sure you are logged on to JFC’s Forticlient VPN.
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Open the following link:
http://172.27.32.112:8080/qcbin/start_a.jsp
You will see the error below once the page loads:
- Go to Settings & More (3 dots at the right side of the toolbar)
Then select “Reload in Internet Explorer mode”.
NOTE: If the error below is seen, you will need to check that you are logged on to JFC’s Forticlient VPN.
- You will be given the option to open the page in Internet Explorer mode next time. You can allow this by moving the slide button to the right:
- The website would fail to load, saying you have to install missing add-ons. Click the link on the page to install the missing add-ons. Click install when prompted.
NOTE: If installation of the HP ALM Add-on cannot proceed because you are not the Admin of your PC, you will need to file a ticket in iServe
Service Portal - Service Portal (service-now.com)
Click on “Request Something” option then look for Catalog:
Corporate Applications > Other Corporate Applications > HP ALM Request
Under Request Type, please select “Installation/ PC Support”.
- Downloading of installation files would commence. Follow the succeeding steps (if any) for installation of the add-on.
- Once successful, the following login page would be shown.
- Logging in to HP ALM
- Provide Name and Password. And then click authenticate.
- Upon authentication, select the appropriate Domain and Project. Click Login afterwards.
