CCTV CAMERA - HOW TO CHANGE IP ADDRESS

 BEFORE YOU PROCEED: 

- These tools are required to proceed with the IP Address Change


 STEP 1: 

- Plug-in the 12V CCTV Power Supply to the Power Outlet and on the Power Supply Port of the CCTV




 STEP 2: 

- After that, plug-in also the LAN Cable on both CCTV Camera and on the PC / Laptop that you will use to configure the IP Address of the camera.


 Step 1 and 2 sample output: 




 STEP 3: 

- After plugging in the CCTV Camera on the PC / Laptop, Click the Windows Button on the keyboard and Type "Run" on the Search Bar then Press Enter.

- After that, the Run window will show up. Under Open Textbox, Type "ncpa.cpl" then Press Enter on the keyboard to show the Network Connections window.





 STEP 4: 

- Under Network Connections, Identify the Network Port where the CCTV Camera are plugged in, Right-Click it, then Click Properties


 NOTE:  

- Please Contact ITD when credentials are showed up after clicking the Properties to be able to proceed with the next step.





 STEP 5: 

- After showing up the Properties of the Network Port, Double-Click the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" to show up the IP Address setting of the Network Port.

- Select the "Use the following IP address" bullet to Configure these setting based on the current IP Address of the CCTV Camera.


 Example: 

If the Current IP Address of the CCTV Camera is "192.168.1.13", then the, 

- IP address must be set to "192.168.1.2" or any number on the Fourth Octet that has not been used and has not identical to the Current IP address of the Camera.

- Subnet mask must always set to "255.255.255.0"

- Default gateway must be set to "192.168.1.1". (Fourth Octet is always set as 1.)


 NOTE:  You must always replicate the First, Second and Third Octet of the current IP address of the CCTV Camera on these settings to be the PC / Laptop to detect and read it.





 STEP 6: 

- To access the CCTV Camera's Settings, Open the Microsoft Edge browser then Type the Current IP Address of the Camera. Input the Username and Password of it, then Press Login button to Enter the Settings.




 STEP 7: 

- Under CCTV Settings, Find the Network Setting then Configure your Desired IP Address on the IPv4 Tab, then Press Save button to apply those changes.


 NOTE:  A message will appear once the currently configured IP Address has been applied to the CCTV Camera.




 STEP 8: 

- Repeat Steps 4 to 7 to view the updated IP Address of the CCTV Camera.
