Optimise corrupted MYOB Data base file

- MYOB Information

  • Server IP: 10.10.50.20 (Accessible: \\10.10.50.20\myob)
  • System Admin – Mr. Emer Sanding Jr. (Accounting Head)


- Get details to system admin.

  • Corrupted database name
  • MYOB administrator password
  • Last date of backup (Backup location: \\10.10.50.20\myob\Backup)


    Procedure:


  • STEP 1: Dapat i-Copy yung corrupted database sa ibang location.
  • STEP 2: Click MYOB Premier v13 

  • STEP 3: Click Open then select defective database






STEP 4: Log-in administrator account





STEP 5: After Log in this screen will appear and done in verifying if the database is defective.

STEP 6: Click OK to exit in the MYOB.



STEP 7: Copy latest database backup (ZIP File). Extract.




  • STEP 8: Repeat STEP 2, 3 and 4 (but this time select the extracted database file)
  • STEP 9: Click the File then choose the Optimize Company File (Click)




STEP 10: After optimization, Go to \\10.10.50.20\myob then rename corrupted database to ex: Josefa Slipways Inc – SP – corrupted 20190610

STEP 11: Then copy newly optimize database to the server \\10.10.50.20\myobSTEP 12: Asked system admin (Mr. Emer Sanding Jr.) to test the MYOB database and asked him the result.

STEP 13: If system admin agree (There is no problem to MYOB),  FINISH…..
